Building Better Sales Operations Through Small Improvements
Operational excellence often comes from spotting recurring friction, understanding its cause, and improving one step at a time.

Sales operations is not only about processes and dashboards. It is also about making it easier for people to do good work and for customers to get a clear, consistent experience.
Notice recurring friction
A single workaround may be harmless. The same workaround appearing across a team can point to a process that needs attention. I look for repeated handoff issues, unclear ownership, avoidable rework, and steps that take time without helping the customer or the team.
Understand before changing
Before proposing a fix, talk to the people closest to the work. Map the current steps and find where expectations, tools, or information break down. This helps separate the root cause from the visible symptom.
Improve one step at a time
A practical improvement can be small: clarify who owns a handoff, make an existing resource easier to find, or agree on a consistent way to record an important detail. A focused change is easier to explain and review.
Check whether it helped
Decide what success should look like before changing the process. Then check whether the change reduced friction and supported the intended customer or team outcome. If it did not, learn from that and adjust.
Good operations work is continuous. Clear ownership, useful feedback, and steady follow-through help improvements last.
